We are looking for entrepreneurial problem solvers who enjoys sourcing and executing solutions. Be a part of an innovative team that is developing pricing strategies, building tools to set our omni prices, and implement technology at scale to improve the overall pricing experience.

What You’ll be doing:

  • Focus on improving Walmart’s leadership position in pricing by building critical tools, operations & processes, and functionality to optimize and automate Walmart’s price setting and markdowns.
  • Develop and ensure implementation of strategic pricing strategy by building tools to simulate, optimize and set prices, both online and stores.
  • Collaborate with Merchants and Pricing teams to ensure tools work for them to hit their strategies, allowing them to implement tests, drive effective price promotions, and deliver their P&L
  • Use analytics to disaggregate and translate complex business issues into actionable changes in our processes, inputs or tools.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and data science teams on the major requirements, logic, and guardrails that need to be deployed to ensure our customers and our Merchants trust ad love our prices.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external teams to achieve company goals
  • Support the robust operations processes and report on performance and SLAs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, marketing, or related field AND 3 years of experience in merchandising, retail pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, marketing, or relate field.
  • OR 5 years of experience in product, tech, merchandising, retail pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, marketing, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in the fields of in business, economics, finance, or related field
  • Multiple years’ experience in retail, consulting, pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, ecommerce, statistics, startup, or related field
  • Understanding of SQL, Python, R, or Alteryx languages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to structure a problem, disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
