Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a Senior Manager I, Security you will be responsible managing crisis events by rooting out and understanding variables involved and making decisions based upon those variables.
What you will do….
Manages Crisis Events
- Activate and coordinate crisis responders across the company
- Leverage partners to bring the proper resources, assets, and services to ensure resolution of the crisis event
- Ensure proper event communication updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Leverage technology and communication platforms to capture event information
- Close out events in internal system
- Conduct and coordinate post-event analysis for continuous improvement
Evaluate Risks
- Oversee data-driven assessments of internal and external security risks to people, business operations, and assets
- Determine vulnerability of company assets to the identified risk
- Evaluate the impact of risk to critical business operations
- Evaluate effectiveness of existing security programs in relation to vulnerabilities and risks
- Translate security risk data to identify business risks for stakeholders to determine appropriate risk response
Provide Support
- Develop strategic disaster response and recovery processes, global governance, and mitigation projects to reduce company losses and closure times
- Assist in the development and implementation of procedures, forms, and global governance associated with hazard mitigation
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures, local, state, federal, and foreign laws and regulations, and regulatory agency directives
- Provide input on facility design to better prepare facilities for disaster resilience
Process Improvement
- Apply knowledge and expertise to invent, improve, evolve, and simplify processes and tech requirements.
Coordination & Communication
- Gather the right people in the room and manages meeting agendas effectively.
- Drives consensus at the highest levels while managing detailed discussions.
